Creativity has long been a central theme in David’s life. He began playing the piano at age 4 and progressed through the trumpet and flute before discovering his passion for playing guitar at age 14. David is a versatile musician, and his current musical interests lie in playing anything from blues to punk rock. During high school photography classes, an interest in drawing and design was awakened, though he wasn’t sure how to combine these interests at the time.
In his early college career, David had planned to be a photographer and minor in music. He didn’t know what graphic design was until he took an Introduction to Graphic Design class. From that point on, he had found what he was missing. Graphic Design and Advertising proved to hold the perfect blend of creativity, wit, and technical knowledge, and he was hooked.
With 15 years of experience, David has worked freelance and full-time for both large and small companies, the federal government, and consultants. A few of David’s clients include: Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Deluxe Winter Market, Downtown Oklahoma City, Inc., Access Midstream, Williams Companies, Federal Aviation Administration, US Customs and Border Protection, AT&T, Kerr McGee and The Spy (local radio).
David currently resides in Oklahoma City with his wife and three children. When he isn't transporting kids here or there, he stays active in the community. David is a board member for Deluxe Winter Market and the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma’s Broadway Ball Committee. His family describes him as the King of One Liners.
